This new course was developed for students doing their first steps studying object oriented programming. Though this course has a bit of a Java flavor it fits both for students that learn C# and for students that learn PHP. Taking this course you should be already familiar with topics covered in the 'Introduction to Procedural Programming' course or alternatively have practical experience with developing procedural software programs. This course goes over the main object oriented programming topics and set the required foundation before moving forward and learning an object oriented software programming language. This course uses the common graphics notation for creating flow chart diagrams, the graphics notation used in UML class diagrams and snipets of the syntax used in Java. This course is available for free (for personal usage only) at abelski web site. It was developed by Haim Michael and is continuously updated with more samples, assignments and explanations. Taking this course please don't hesitate and let us know of any topic for which you would have expected to find more information and/or a more detailed explanation as well as any aspect or topic you would have expected to find and we still haven't included. If you are new to software programming it is highly recommended to take this course together with the other introductory courses for software programming available for free at abelski. More info about this course and about Haim Michael's perspective about its development can be found at www.lifemichael.com, Haim Michael blog. |
